Dependent on experience AXA – Global Healthcare are looking for a Head of PMO to join their Transformation team and lead the PMO capability and practice for the IPMO division. You’ll provide planning, governance and oversight of the Transformation portfolio projects and initiatives, ensuring they are executed according to standards. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, at our Tunbridge Wells office. What you’ll be doing: Develop individual and collective performance of the team to ensure it meets the current and future needs of our business Design and Implement the Governance Frameworks and overseeing control processes that support successful delivery of transformation initiatives Work closely with Product Managers and Agile Squads to ensure adherence and consistency in agile and product management practices Establish, Maintain and Continually improve the methodologies, templates and artefacts required to drive consistency, quality and outcomes Management of the Transformation Portfolio financials, including its reporting and approval processes through the Investment Committee and Change Board Identify, assess and mitigate risks across the Transformation Portfolio, ensuring proactive management of potential issues and mitigating actions Track and manage the resourcing models, analysing the information and proactively and reactively highlights risks and issues to better balance demand and workload Developing project performance reports, including maintaining and monitoring action logs, tracking project tasks, risks, issues, dependencies, and milestones We know that some candidates may be discouraged from applying if they don't meet every requirement. What you’ll bring: Demonstrable experience of Project Management Office leadership Experience with PPM tools and a wider knowledge of Project frameworks and governance, and IT change management Relevant PMO professional qualification Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organisational and planning skills Ability to make decisions and take responsibility where necessary Experience of managing direct reports and managing extensive matrix teams including offshore resources Financial Services background, ideally with exposure to the PMI/IPMI industry As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
