The Early Help Team Leader is based at Greenhey's Police Station and manages a team of Practitioners who work with families across the city supporting and advising on exploitation issues, developing and sustaining strong working relationships with a range of partners as part of Manchester's Multi Agency Complex Safeguarding Hub. The Hub works with young people who are at risk from child sexual exploitation, child criminal exploitation and serious violence with a strong focus on building trusted relationships and a trauma informed approach with young people alongside the disruption of perpetrators. You will be working closely with colleagues from Children’s Social Care, GMP, Health and other partners to deliver the best possible response to those at risk of exploitation. The Team Leader role supports and leads the team in the delivery of high-quality child centred practice and effective management of risk and need, focusing on family strengths and supporting parents and carers to identify where support is needed and how changes can be brought about that will reduce push and pull factors.
