Your Role as an Out of Hours Nurse Advisor
In this role, you’ll be the key point of contact for our employees and client’s outside of regular business hours, ensuring robust clinical advice. Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing clinical queries to maintain continuity of care.
* Handling real-time challenges quick thinking and problem-solving to minimise disruptions.
* Escalating critical issues ensuring urgent clinical concerns, or client safety risks, are fully discussed and addressed promptly.
* Coordinating effectively working closely with our care teams, clients, and internal teams to maintain service delivery as well as liaising with external services where necessary
* Effective triage ensuring the clinical advice and support you deliver is evidence based.
* Maintaining confidence and calm being a dependable clinician for teams and clients during out-of-hours periods.
* Excellent documentation to ensure events are fully recorded in real time.
Working Hours & Flexibility
Our clinical out of hours service operates during the following times:
* Monday to Sunday: 1700-0900
There will be an expected 30 minute handover period at times if the on call has been busy.
This position can be a part time role to fit around your availability while ensuring service needs are met, however you need to be prepared for calls at any time during the on call period with the ability to focus and action as required. A strong internet and quiet workspace is essential.

This role would suit a Nurse who has worked as a Nurse Advisor for 111 service or similar or within the complex care / community environment.
