Mploy Staffing Solutions Ltd is looking to source a permanent Embalmer to join our highly valued and established client in Poole, Dorset.

1. a highly competitive salary of £35, to £40, per annum, subject to experience and interview performance.
2. relocation support including discounted accommodation, subject to need & availability.
3. permanent full-time work with a 40 hour per week contract, excluding on call work. Monday to Friday work with hours of 8:30am to 5pm daily.
4. on call work with potential earnings up to £8, per annum. Expect to be on call one evening/morning every five days (rolling).
5. a fully paid for opportunity to undertake a professional Diploma in Embalming with the opportunity to become a Member of The British Institute of Embalmers, the course is valued at circa £8, subject to need and a training agreement.

In return for these excellent benefits our client is looking for a candidate who:
10. is a compassionate and experienced Embalmer. Ideally, youll hold a BIE qualification/membership and have an established collection of experiences in similar roles.
11. recognises the importance of the role and their responsibility to not only the deceased but also to the families our client is privileged enough to care for. You will have an eye for detail and possess an appreciation that your work is the final opportunity to deliver a fitting tribute/celebration of a deceased persons life.
12. is physically fit with a UK driving licence.
13. ideally can prepare the deceased in an appropriate and respectful manner. Ideally, youll be well versed in modern embalming techniques and familiar with post-mortem changes in the subject. Removing surgical devices, vessel selection and vein/arterial injection & drainage can all be expected as duties.
14. ideally has expertise in embalming post autopsy and special condition deceased subjects. Ideally, youll be well versed in suturing techniques and cosmetic considerations in preparation for family viewings.
15. ideally has a working knowledge of COSHH including a thorough understanding embalming chemicals and workplace Health & Safety. Ideally, youll be adept in maintaining an organised and sterile embalming theatre.
16. is conversant with the Microsoft Office package and is confident using telephone systems.
17. is an articulate communicator with an excellent standard of written & spoken English.
18. is a team player. Expect to support internal stakeholders including our clients Funeral Directors with admin tasks completed to a high standard.
