Parkwood Academy is nestled in the heart of Melbourne Road, Chelmsford and is a thriving primary school within the South Essex Academy Trust (SEAT), a dynamic network of schools that champion collaboration and mutual support.
We are seeking a dynamic and inspiring EYFS Class Teacher to join our welcoming and supportive team at Parkwood Academy. The successful candidate will be responsible for the learning and achievement of all pupils in the class/es, ensuring equality of opportunity for all and being accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in work and conduct. The role offers the opportunity to complete PPA time from home.
Key Responsibilities:
1. A degree or equivalent with Qualified Teacher Status.
2. Experience of teaching across Early Years.
3. A passion for learning, creativity in your approach, and the ability to encourage our children to become successful, self-motivated, happy, and confident learners through engaging lessons.
4. A proven track record of good or outstanding teaching within Early Years.
5. A positive and inspirational approach with a real passion for making a difference.
6. Ambition and high expectations of yourself and your pupils.
7. The ability to forge and maintain positive working relationships with children and their families.
8. The desire to be a valued member of a professional and supportive team.
9. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of our staff and wider Academy Trust team.
10. The ability to overcome communication barriers and build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
