Job Purpose: The Sales Development Representatives (SDR) are responsible for identifying and engaging new prospects, creating interest in the JANS Group's diverse solutions, and supporting the sales team by setting up meetings, product demonstrations, or conference calls for field sales representatives. The SDR role is key to building the pipeline and accelerating the growth of the business. Key Responsibilities: Prospect Identification & Engagement: Proactively research and identify new leads across the JANS Group's key sectors. Use multiple channels (phone, email, social media) to initiate conversations with potential customers and generate interest in the groups offerings. Build rapport with prospects and understand their needs, effectively positioning JANS Groups solutions. Meeting & Demo Scheduling: Arrange product demonstrations, meetings, and conference calls for the field sales team. Coordinate schedules between prospects and field sales representatives to facilitate seamless transitions. Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions in the CRM system, ensuring a clear view of the pipeline and next steps. Ensure all leads are properly qualified before passing them to field sales reps. Collaboration & Feedback: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and field sales teams to refine outreach strategies. Provide feedback to management on the quality of leads and emerging customer needs. Person Specification: Qualifications & Experience: Prior experience in a sales development, lead generation, or customer-facing role is required. Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales prospecting tools is essential. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and sales automation software. A degree or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential; emotional intelligence and people skills are highly valued. Skills & Competencies: Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential to building relationships and effectively conveying value propositions. Sales Technologies: Proficient in the use of CRM, sales automation, and prospecting tools to manage leads and track progress. Time Management & Organisation: Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple prospects and priorities simultaneously. Team Collaboration: A self-starter with a positive attitude who thrives in both independent and team environments.
