Job Description
* Review print approvals. Review shop prints.
* Maintain data plates and all labels. Order all labels from state and PFS agencies. Label all modules prior to shipping. Prepare and submit all monthly PFS and state label reports. Print and maintain all PFS audits. Coordinate scheduling of state and PFS audits.
* Oversee all module inspections. Conduct daily line inspections.
* Review and maintain all pictures taken of modules and testing. Review and maintain QC testing travelers.
* Maintain working relationships with state and third-party inspection agencies.
* Document any non-conformances on module travelers. Ensure non-conformances are rectified with production.
* Review and complete data entry in Smartsheets for module inspections. Review and update Smartsheet travelers for each project.
* Conduct weekly material inspections.
* Direct and supervise QC line inspectors.
* Field questions and answers for inspectors, supervisors, and production.
* Review and update QC department SOPs. Review and update building codes of line inspections. Review and update installation instructions for building materials and products.
* Schedule yearly calibrations for the electrical Hi-Pot tester.
* Attend and contribute to daily production meetings. Attend project and drawing review meetings.
Qualifications
* 3-5 years’ experience working within a quality organization and/or Quality inspection/Management experience.
* Ability to learn various software such as enterprise resource planning, manufacturing execution systems, CAD software, etc.
* Strong analytical skills in sorting and representing data and analyzing flow.
* Understanding and application of Lean/Six Sigma principles learned through practical application.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present to management.
* Strong computer skills with proficiency in Excel and other MS Office applications.
* Self-motivated, able to multitask, proven success in fast-paced environments.
* Team player, able to build positive working relationships with people across different functions, locations, and levels of management.
* Experience with the construction industry and its code requirements is a plus.
