James has a diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy, epilepsy and is visually impaired, he requires all his care needs met and uses a PEG for his fluids, and a wheelchair for mobility. He is unable to regulate his temperature which can cause him to have seizures.
Your role as his Support Worker will be to support with getting up and dressed in the mornings, ready for school, after school to support changing and eating his dinner, bathing or showering and taking his medication. On the weekends, you will support him during his hydrotherapy on a 2:1 care basis and during any other activities, either with or without his family members.
