An exciting opportunity has arisen for an aspiring, self-motivated individual to join Bolton NHS Foundation Trust's Digital Transformation Team as Senior Project Manager.
The team are a group of staff from a number of disciplines and backgrounds and we will expect you to be ready to hit the ground running working together with them and clinical colleagues to lead the delivery of a number of our key projects within the Digital Programme.
Main duties of the job
The demands and scale of the projects you will work on will vary but we will look to you to utilise the following: experience of delivering large scale change skills to manage competing demands ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities response to short deadlines effective communication to all stakeholders, flexibility to take on all tasks within a project and your ability to quickly build strong working relationships.
You will work across health and care settings to deliver digital transformation to patients, clinicians and support functions. Managing a project and seeking opportunities to deliver benefit to our staff and thrive on diversity of work. You may find yourself presenting to project boards, briefing groups, facilitating process mapping workshops, drawing process maps, preparing business cases, defining project scope, developing the project plan, completing project documentation and producing highlight reports.

Experience Essential criteria
* Experience of a project management role within a customer focussed organisation.
* Experience of successfully managing projects within a programme management system including evidence of change management within timeframes and budget.
* Experience of policy and strategy development and how these impact across the organisation.
Desirable criteria
* Evidence of experience within an NHS environment.
* Experience of working within an Informatics environment.
* Experience of implementing changes to working methods and evaluating effectiveness
* Experience of resource management, including staff and information resources.
Qualifications Essential criteria
* PRINCE2 Foundation
* Educated to relevant degree level in Health Informatics, IT or a related subject, or able to demonstrate equivalent experience
Desirable criteria
* PRINCE2 Practitioner
* Change Management Foundation
* Business Analysis Foundation
* MSP Foundation

* Prince2 (Foundation level) or other equivalent project management qualification.
