Supply Chain Analyst
The Supply Chain Analyst will support the development and implementation of the organisations supply chain risk monitoring and management, and systems and reporting activities across all stages of the procurement lifecycle. The role involves working with suppliers and colleagues within the Supply Chain Management function to maintain and enhance their approach to measuring supplier capacity utilisation and financial health across 2000+ critical suppliers and assist with implementing appropriate mitigations, in collaboration with the supply chain.
As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will need to have/be:
* Analytical skills - including the ability to deliver consistently accurate data analysis and insights.
* Technical skills - technical skills to maximise use of Microsoft applications and visualisation tools e.g. Power BI, Access, Excel, PowerPoint.
* Research skills - including the ability to research the market, new ideas and trends.
* Prioritisation & organisational skills - including managing competing priorities to agreed deadlines.
* Ability to produce and present documents and reports to a variety of audiences.
* Stakeholder management skills - including the ability to maintain effective working relationships with teams across the organisation.
* Experience of systems and reporting applications including procurement and commercial tools.
* Experience of gathering and analysing information from multiple stakeholders and sources.
* Experience of conducting objective analysis of supply chain data (including performance, risk and opportunities)
Details:
* Rate: .00 per day (inside IR35)
* Working Hours: Full time Monday - Friday
* Location: Hybrid, Birmingham (2 days per week)
* Duration: Until end of June 2025
Role of Supply Chain Analyst:
* Oversee and maintain supply chain data and tools, monitor key indicators, and provide data insights using Microsoft Access, Power BI, and Power Apps.
* Produce accurate and timely supply chain reports for stakeholder groups in line with programme governance.
* Support the development of the supply chain management database, including migration to a new platform such as Microsoft Dataverse.
* Collaborate with Supply Chain Managers and contractors to identify supply chain risks and opportunities, creating mitigation plans.
* Represent the organisation at external engagement events.
* Develop supply chain models and maps to analyse marketplace strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and risks.
* Provide support to the wider supplier management and Procurement & Supply Chain functions where cross-working is needed
