Certain Advantage is hiring for a Manufacturing Project Manager based in the Cheshire area.
This role is on a contract basis and is site-based.
The Company
We're working with a manufacturing business that operates in the aerospace sector. They design, manufacture, and deliver industry-leading commercial aircraft, along with a separate space and defense division.
The Role
The role involves working on projects for modifications on the product, including:
1. Product improvement.
2. Understanding of the wing build process end to end preferable.
3. Understanding of broad manufacturing processes across the Broughton plant.
4. Modification experience a requirement.
5. Drive a "Safety First" culture in the team.
6. Chairing project reviews.
7. Manage project plans.
8. Project industrial assessments.
9. Chair risk & opportunity reviews.
10. Project governance review participant.
11. Project milestone review contributor.
12. Design review participant.
13. Coordinate & manage industrial trials.
You'll be results-oriented and driven to succeed, working in a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:
1. Industrial assessments (MOD) at all project milestone gates ensuring that all plant requirements are included.
2. Define & monitor an industrial top-level project plan for each modification and/or new development project.
3. Ensure the alignment of all plans with central programme requirements and individual functional stakeholders.
4. Contribute to resource planning workload and funding requirements.
5. Ensure all plans are produced and managed to a level of detail to ensure the accurate delivery of time, cost, quality, and safety requirements.
