Job purpose
The successful candidate will be supporting a 5-year-old with Autism Spectrum Disorder to grow and learn and to be happy and have fun! I am looking for a reliable, outgoing and caring person to care for me and to allow my family some respite.
About me
I am a fun and outgoing 5-year-old. I have a great personality, and I love being out and about! I have Autism Spectrum Disorder and I really struggle socially. I require a lot of support and guidance as I have very limited understanding. I love to read books, go to the beach, the sand and water and being creative, parks, walks and soft play.
You will be working in a smoke-free environment. I do not have any pets, but I love animals!
Support will be in your home mainly, or in the community.

Hours, days and times of work: 3x 2 hour shifts per week or 2x 3 hour shifts per week to be worked across Wednesday, Thursday and/or Friday.
Pay rate: £12.21 per hour
Annual leave: The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work normally done during 5.6 weeks (statutory entitlement).
Expenses: You will be reimbursed for prior agreed expenses incurred as part of the role.
Sick pay: I do not operate a private sick pay scheme but provided you meet the eligibility criteria, you may be entitled to Statutory Sick Pay (SSP).
Pension: I do not operate a private pension scheme but I will fulfil my statutory obligations via the NEST pension scheme.
