About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Production Leader to join our team and take charge of our engineering and paint spraying functions. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines team management with project delivery.
If you have at least 5 years of experience in engineering (mechanical or electrical), construction, or manufacturing and are ready to take the next step in your career, we want to hear from you. While prior experience in paint spraying is not required, a passion for quality, attention to detail, and a commitment to putting the customer first are essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Team Leadership: Guide, motivate, and work closely with your team to ensure high-quality project delivery on time.
* Project Management: Plan and oversee projects from start to finish, including disassembly, cataloguing, collaboration with polishing/painting teams, and reassembly.
* Customer Focus: Maintain a strong customer-centric approach to ensure client satisfaction and project success.
* Collaboration: Partner with fabricators and mechanical engineers to design stands and crates for exhibitions.
* Operations Management: Manage resources, logistics, transportation, and supplier relationships to meet project demands.
* Health & Safety: Uphold safety, quality, and environmental standards while maintaining a clean and secure working environment.
* Quality Assurance: Oversee processes to ensure all work meets the highest standards.
Skills & Experience
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in engineering (mechanical, electrical), construction, or manufacturing.
* Proven ability to lead by example, inspire a team, and promote a collaborative working environment.
* Strong project and people management skills.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to be clear, consistent, and focused.
* A commitment to process-driven quality assurance while fostering innovation.
* Experience using Microsoft Office applications or similar tools.
Qualifications
* Technical qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering or construction.
* Leadership qualification or demonstrated experience in leading teams.
* Recognized learning and development qualification is a plus.
* Evidence of continued professional development or project management experience is beneficial.
