Directing the next phase of establishing a mature approach to contract and supplier relationship management, you will be building and leading performance, driving an increase in spend under management across the Framework portfolio.
Responsible for implementing and overseeing strategies that drive growth, you will mitigate risk, meet legislative and policy requirements and deliver outstanding service across all parts of the NHS and wider public sector.

What you'll be doing:
1. Leading the development of our contract and supplier relationship management capability and supporting team across each of the Procurement Solutions categories
2. Motivating teams to implement and embed new strategies and practices
3. Advising the development, implementation and evolvement of strategies, embedding these consistently across the team
4. An SME in Framework management / contract management / SRM, including the structure of them and ability to maximise commercial benefits, able to advise senior management on developments and standard processes.
5. Developing strategies that allow the performance management of suppliers to support the delivery of high-quality services to our customers.
6. Anticipating and handling change, encouraging all category teams to develop new knowledge and skills.
What you’ll bring:
7. CIPS Level 6 Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply
8. Shown experience within category management, contract & supplier relationship management environment within the public sector.
9. Solid understanding of implementing best in class strategies.
10. Experience of applying matrix management principles and applying cross functional ways of working.
11. Background in working across the NHS landscape at a senior level to identify and solution complex procurement requirements across the procurement lifecycle.
12. Knowledge of UK public procurement legislation and policy.
It would be great if you had:

14. Knowledge of operating within a Public Sector Buying organisation environment.

Employment Type: Full-time, 18 month FTC (possibility of becoming permanent)
Location: Salford (within a 2 hour commute)

Salary: circa £80,000 per annum (depending upon experience and development needs)
