Contract: 12-month Contract (with the possibility of extensions)
Rate: £299 a day PAYE
Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and strategic Sales Support professional to join our dynamic team. This is a brand new role designed to enhance our sales operations and ensure our team remains at the forefront of the industry. The ideal candidate will have excellent presentation skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to coordinate seamlessly across various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Face-to-Face Meetings: Assist in covering face-to-face meetings, ensuring high-quality interactions and outcomes.
2. Presentation Skills: Deliver presentations as needed, supporting sales initiatives and complex account engagements.
3. Planning & Recommendations: Provide strategic planning and recommendations to enhance sales efforts.
4. Hospitality Coordination: Help coordinate hospitality arrangements for sales activities.
5. Sales Support: Assist salespeople in connecting with the right prospects and follow up on outputs to drive results.
6. Event Liaison: Work closely with the events team to ensure seamless coordination and execution of sales-related events.
7. Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on industry trends to keep the sales team informed and competitive.
8. Departmental Glue: Act as the central link between various departments, ensuring cohesive and effective operations.
9. Elite Industry Knowledge: Ensure the sales team maintains elite industry knowledge and stays ahead of market developments.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
10. Experience: 2-3 years in a similar sales support role, preferably within the financial services or SaaS sector.
11. Presentation Skills: Strong ability to present information clearly and effectively in various settings.
12. Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and provide valuable insights and recommendations.
13. Entrepreneurial & Self-Starter: Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to initiate and drive projects independently.
14. Coordination Skills: Excellent planning and coordination skills to manage hospitality and events effectively.
15. Follow-Up & Liaison: Strong follow-up skills and the ability to liaise effectively with different teams and departments.
16. Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of industry trends and the ability to keep the sales team informed and ahead.
17. Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills to connect with the right people and act as the glue between departments.
