About the Role: The Financial Controller will join the Senior Management Team and play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy, enhancing financial systems, and overseeing day-to-day operations to support the company’s ambitious growth plans. This is a hands-on position for a strategic financial professional keen to make a measurable impact in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Shape and implement financial strategies to meet revenue, EBITDA, and financial goals. Manage financial reporting and compliance, preparing financial statements, lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes to enhance decision-making and visibility. Risk and asset management, ensuring effective financial controls are in place and managed, protecting Company assets and mitigating financial risks. Regularly assess and review the Company’s control systems and identify areas of risk, implement strategies to mitigate including credit, market and operational risk. Monitor and manage the Company’s cashflow, producing regular reports and cashflow statements. Provide leadership to the finance team, ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations and mentoring the team. About You: We’re looking for a Financial Controller with: Senior financial management experience in a B2B environment, ideally within equipment hire, rental, or leasing sectors. Proven success in driving EBITDA growth and delivering strategic value. ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification with at least two years of post-qualification experience. Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
