Relevant qualifications such as MRCP, Diploma in Geriatric Medicine, MRCGP, or an advanced degree (MD, PhD, MSc). Minimum of 4 years postgraduate experience, with a background in assessing and treating elderly patients in inpatient or community settings. Experience working within a multidisciplinary team (MDT). Proven commitment to continuing professional development (CPD), with involvement in audits and service improvement projects. Skilled in critically appraising new treatments and developments. Confident in managing clinical risk within community care environments.
