The Acute and Emergency Care Division, Hospital Operations within Morriston Hospital Service Group is looking for a Directorate Manager to work as part of a committed divisional leadership team who are striving to continually improve services and experience for staff. Main duties of the job
The Directorate Manager will lead the Directorate Management Team in all aspects of operational and strategic management to ensure that a safe, effective, patient service is delivered at all times in line with agreed policies, procedures and standards.
Main Duties
The Directorate Manager will:
Support and deputise for the Associate Service Group Director/ Divisional Manager across the full range of responsibilities.
Manage the operational issues within the Division.
Support the Associate Service Group Director /Divisional Manager in the planning, communication and delivery of highly complex business cases for new/extension to clinical services.
Support and lead as appropriate the service modernisation agenda within the Division.
Contribute to the strategic aims of the Health Board and the Division.
Take a lead on Performance Management, Delivery of Service and Financial Framework Targets, Communication and Information Governance for the Division.
To support the Clinical Director and Divisional Manager, in the development of a culture, which engages consultant medical and other staff in the development and delivery of services.
