We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager to join the team at Sticky Walnut. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a proven track record of success in managing a team. You will have excellent food and wine knowledge coupled with a good head for business. Sticky Walnut currently holds two AA rosettes and holds national recognition for cooking and serving amazing plates of food.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee daily operations of the site
2. Ensure high-quality customer service is provided to all guests
3. Manage and train staff to ensure they are meeting performance expectations
4. Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability alongside the Operations Manager
5. Collaborate with both the FOH and BOH to ensure smooth operation of the entire establishment
6. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, licensing regulations, and fire safety
Minimum Requirements:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in hospitality, 3 of which should be at a management level
2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
3. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
4. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
5. Good knowledge of wine with a drive to learn more along with good knowledge of cellar management and cask ale management
