The work is dynamic and varied due to our remote and rural setting and it being a popular holiday destination. The post delivers operational management to a variety of health and social care professionals to ensure that care is delivered in line with National and Local strategies, by a workforce which is resourced to do so. This post also works with peers to ensure that Health and Social Care resources are allocated fairly and in a way which supports individuals to achieve their personal objectives when illness or disability have impacted upon them. There are opportunities to influence how services are delivered locally by working closely with Community partners to develop and enhance local provision. One of our Service's top priorities is nurturing the next generation of staff. The ideal candidate would be an enthusiastic, established Band 7 or an existing Band 8A dedicated to delivering high quality Health and Social care. You will be working alongside the District Manager, ITM for Skye and Lochalsh, Social Work Manager and professional leads all helping to support your role. They will provide you with expert advice on any complex issues and developing sound, safe clinical practice.
