Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a well respected, and established law firm in the recruitment of a Medical Negligence Legal Assistant/Secretary, on a part-time basis working 4 days per week. Key Responsibilities: Providing high-quality administrative support to the medical negligence solicitors and legal team. Managing client correspondence, ensuring that all queries are dealt with promptly and professionally. Organising and maintaining legal documents, ensuring all records are accurately filed and easily accessible. Drafting legal documents, including letters, reports, and claims, under the direction of solicitors. Liaising with clients, healthcare providers, and other relevant parties. Assisting with case management, including preparing documents for hearings and meetings. Handling sensitive and confidential information with the utmost professionalism and care. Skills & Qualifications: Previous experience working in a legal assistant or secretary role, ideally within medical negligence, personal injury or medical secretarial/admin support role. Strong organisational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities. A proactive, client-focused approach. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software. Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is desirable but not essential.
