ROLE:
We are seeking a highly organised, detail-orientated and proactive Legal Secretary/ Assistant to join our Family Department in Doncaster. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a legal environment, particularly in family law and will be able to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining the highest level of professionalism.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Preparing legal documents such as ES1, ES2, and Form E's in line with provided instructions
* Handling Legal Aid requests
* Maintaining and organising client files accurately
* Efficiently managing correspondence with clients, solicitors and other parties
* Performing general administrative duties including audio typing, filing, and coordinating meetings, appointments, and court dates

ABOUT YOU:
The ideal candidate will have:
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data management
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
* Proficient in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
* Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or in a secretarial role within a legal environment
* Experience working with Legal Aid
