Job Description
This is a senior managerial position with responsibility for delivering and developing the customer contract and ensuring that strategies and business plans are in place to achieve targets and drive business performance and growth. This is customer facing role so you must be approachable and interested in building strong relationships.
What will you be doing?
1. Ensuring all day to day operational requirements consistently meet the customers’ expectations
2. Exceeding customer key performance measures, holding regular customer reviews and managing and developing client relationships
3. Responsible for managing and developing the existing management teams and employee relations
4. Developing and implementing new initiatives and projects with the customer
5. Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement to deliver best in class operations
6. Preparing customer annual budgets and working within those financial boundaries whilst delivering improved financial performance
7. Assume responsibility for managing Health & Safety, Personnel issues and Facilities across all sites
Qualifications
8. Ideally educated to degree level and with a proven track record within the 3rd Party warehousing and logistics sector you will possess above average enthusiasm and commitment
9. A demonstrable track record in managing high volume, service driven warehouse operations for FMCG Customers
10. Track record of working closely with customers and able to illustrate examples of how they have improved the relationships
11. Excellent communication skills, ability to converse at all levels, shop floor, senior management and customer
12. Should be a successful leader of teams, have positive personal qualities and attributes
13. Must possess enthusiasm, drive and commitment, a creative thinker and the ability work outside the box at times, required
14. Experience of Open and Closed book contracts, good numerical and commercial skills are essential
