Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Estates Surveyor in Yate!
Our client, a prominent local government organisation, is seeking a skilled Senior Estates Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Yate. This is a contract position that offers an attractive daily rate of £400 and a full-time working pattern. Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee a portfolio of complex cases, independently prioritising and finding solutions to problems.
2. Conduct property valuations and lead on acquisitions and disposals.
3. Advise and assist with the supervision of team members.
4. Exemplify our client's values and behaviours.
Essential Requirements:
1. Degree in Estate Management or equivalent, preferably with membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
2. Post-qualification experience in a commercial organisation or local authority.
3. Strong IT skills, including proficiency in word processing, databases, and spreadsheet packages.
4. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
5. Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and deliver projects.
6. Effective negotiation skills.
Desirable Skills:
1. Registered Valuer qualification.
2. Knowledge of various methods of marketing, disposal, and acquisition of land and buildings.
3. Experience of Local Government practices and procedures.
