Contract Manager
Location: Oxford, OX11 - Harwell
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Salary: £65,000 + Vehicle + 5% Bonus
We're working for one of our biggest clients on a brand new contract win for them covering a contract for a well-known American Pharmaceutical & Biotechnical company as a Contract Manager. This role has a P&L budget responsibility of around £3m per year for the maintenance of the site. You will also be responsible for the soft services across the site with the cleaning taking up around 40% of the annual budget.
As the Contract Manager, you will be responsible for managing the expectations of the client and being the face of the company's performance across the site.
Responsibilities for a Contract Manager:
1. Experience in managing a team
2. Experience in managing budgets and P&L
3. Presenting and compiling monthly reports to clients
4. Working closely with the clients daily, managing the relationship between the client and service provider
5. Conducting specific risk assessments
6. Continually review current processes and working practices and actively encourage an environment of innovation and continuous improvement
7. Producing detailed and specific engineering quotes for a range of mechanical, electrical and building fabric works
8. Active role in annual shutdowns and project works
9. Sound understanding and experience of meeting health and safety obligations with regards to project and engineering activities
10. Managing sub-contractors permits to work
11. Strong leadership skills
Qualifications / Experience for a Contract Manager:
1. NVQ Level 2/3 in relevant engineering
2. Technical background (desirable but not essential)
3. Previous experience managing multiple sites (desirable)
4. Client facing and well presented
5. Waste Management Qualification (Ideally)
