Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Tameside, Greater Manchester
Position: Temporary with the potential to become permanent
Overview:
Hays Education are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join the provision team of an SEN school in Tameside, Greater Manchester. This role requires you to support students with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), both 1:1 and in small groups.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing tailored support to each individual student with SEND
* Creating a positive and supporting learning environment
* Implementing individual behaviour management plans
* Working closely with parents, teachers and therapists to support students' development
Key Requirements:
* Experience supporting children with SEND
* A passion for supporting students' educational and personal development
* The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
* Strong communication skills
* A proactive and caring attitude
* A DBS Certificate or be willing to obtain one
