Role Overview:
As the Bid Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire bid process, from content creation to submission, ensuring that all responses are accurate, compelling, and aligned with the client's needs. You will collaborate with both internal and external teams to create high-quality, tailored responses to tender questions, executive summaries, case studies, and CVs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Bid Content Creation: Develop high-quality, bespoke content for tender submissions, including detailed responses to tender questions, executive summaries, case studies, and CVs.
* Collaboration and Strategy: Work closely with the wider bid team, contributing to the development of win themes and strategies that demonstrate a clear understanding of client requirements.
* Tender Process Management: Oversee the clarification and RFI (Request for Information) process during the tender period and after submission, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
* Bid Monitoring: Track tender outcomes, provide feedback to the team on success rates and trends, and continuously improve bid strategies.
* Tender Portal Management: Keep all company details up to date on buyer portals and respond promptly to any requests for information. Monitor portals for new opportunities and share them with the team for review.
* Bid Library Maintenance: Maintain and update the Bid Library to ensure all documentation is current and easily accessible.
* Compliance: Promote a safe and compliant work environment, ensuring adherence to SHE (Safety, Health, and Environmental) Policies and Procedures.
Ideal Candidate:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar bid management or tendering role
* Educated to a third-level standard in a business, construction, or a related discipline
* Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with excellent attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
* Experience in the manufacturing or construction sector is an advantage
