Your new companyYou will be joining an established utilities contractor based in the Gloucester area working on multi-utility schemes for high-profile clients. Having secured an additional £30m worth of work on top of their already healthy order book, they are looking to onboard a Quantity Surveyor to join their team.Your new roleAs Quantity Surveyor, you will be based in the Gloucester area and be responsible for, but not limited to:
* Producing and providing accurate forecasts of project costs to completion/final value
* Managing subcontractor accounts
* Liaising with clients and other key project stakeholders
* Monitoring cash flow and valuation plans
* Managing subcontractor tender processes
* Providing accurate reports of costs and values on the projects on a weekly basis.
What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you will have:
* Experience at an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor level
* Good working knowledge of NEC form of contract
* Sound negotiation and organisational skills
* A doer attitude and be able to liaise with clients, site teams and subcontractors.
