Computershare has an exciting opportunity for a Product Owner to join our team in Bristol.
Role
As a Product Owner, you will be joining a global business during an ambitious global Digital Transformation Programme. You will continue to develop professionally as you influence the experiences of customers, clients, and our own employees through the delivery of digital applications using leading-edge technology, shaping the future of technology and innovation at Computershare.
A role you will love
As one of our Product Owners, you will be the voice of our customer within our squads and will be responsible for capturing and prioritising the backlog to ensure that the correct product features and functionality are delivered and maintained throughout the product lifecycle. Maximizing the business value of the product and building strong relationships with stakeholders will be critical. You will need to develop a deep understanding of the product and associated applications, the business areas that leverage the product, and the wider market forces driving the business.
Some Key Responsibilities Include
* Communicate effectively with a variety of technical and non-technical audiences to share knowledge and complex ideas; provide updates; influence; challenge; and take on feedback.
* Clearly translate complex business and technical problems to stakeholders.
* Support the Squad in defining sprint goals, working collaboratively to execute and review the Sprint.
* Be the voice of the customer – manage a Product Backlog and Roadmap from initial request through to release.
* Use agile practices to stay responsive to business needs and to deliver value incrementally.

We are looking for an innovative and detail-oriented person with a real passion for Product Ownership. You will be a natural mentor and leader, capable of building and managing excellent relationships with stakeholders and technology teams.
Other Key Skills Required For The Role Include
* Significant experience liaising with stakeholders to understand needs, propose solutions, and translate these for other members of the Squad.
* Experience in agile requirements techniques including Personas, Story Mapping, Product Roadmaps, Backlog Management, etc.
* Experience of Agile software development in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
* Excellent analytical and research skills with the ability to collect and analyse complex material and data.
* Certification as a Product Owner or equivalent is desirable.
