Due to significant growth, Skills for Security, the leading provider of apprenticeships to the Fire and Security sector are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and passionate Learner Skills Coach on a full-time basis to support in the delivery of Customer Service, Business Administration and Team Leader apprenticeship standards. The successful applicant will be responsible for: The effective delivery of Customer Service, Business Administration and Team Leader apprenticeship standards through a blend of delivery styles including face to face, remote and workshops Ownership of caseload of circa 40 learners Supporting learners from initial enquiry through to End Point Assessment This role may require occasional travel to meet the needs of learners; however, most of the role can be conducted remotely. An ideal candidate would have demonstrable practical experience of working within a management, senior administration and/or senior customer service role to aid impactful and engaging delivery of the following topics: Team Leader including, but not limited to: Leading and managing people Communication and relationship building Project and operational management Awareness of and managing self Introduction to business finance Problem solving and decision making Business Administrator including, but not limited to: Information Technology Policies, Processes, Record and Document Production Decision Making, Interpersonal Skills and Communications Quality, Professionalism, Performance Management Project management, Planning and organisation Stakeholder management External environment factors Customer Service including, but not limited to: Knowing your customers Understanding the organisation Meeting regulations and legislation Systems and resources Your role and responsibility Customer experience Produce and Service knowledge Requirements Demonstratable relevant experience in a suitable role (min 3 years) Experience of apprenticeship delivery preferred but not essential. Experience of working within the Fire and Security industry preferred but not essential. Proven track record of working to KPI’s. Familiarisation with Microsoft Teams Be able to present information clearly to differing audiences. Hold the following or be prepared to work towards: AET or above (or equivalent), Assessing Competence in Work environment or above (or equivalent), IQA. Some flexibility to liaise with learners outside of ‘usual’ work hours.
