As a Premium Processing Team Leader, you will oversee a team of Technicians dedicated to specific product lines. While this is not a line management role, you will supervise operational tasks, ensure exceptional service delivery, and act as the primary point of contact for team queries. Key Responsibilities
* Technical Support Coordination: Lead and coordinate technical support within the team, ensuring seamless workflow and adherence to company standards.
* Project Leadership: Manage assigned projects and contribute to team initiatives, driving continuous improvement.
* Document Processing: Assist in the creation and processing of client and broking documents, including slips, quotes, and endorsements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Record Maintenance: Maintain meticulous records and ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
* Quality Assurance: Monitor team output to uphold service and quality standards, implementing corrective actions as needed.
* Broking Support: Provide technical assistance to the broking team, facilitating smooth operations.
* Escalation Point: Act as a point of escalation for team queries and urgent issues, resolving them promptly.
* Training and Mentorship: Train and mentor junior team members, fostering their professional growth.
* Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with business units and clients, enhancing collaboration.
* Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to internal policies and regulatory obligations.
Who We're Looking For
* Industry Experience: Proven experience in a similar role within the insurance sector.
* Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of insurance processes and procedures.
* Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce accurate documentation.
* Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and prioritization skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
* Proactive Attitude: Proactive, motivated, and capable of driving team performance.
* Training Experience: Experience in training or mentoring team members.
* Professional Development: Willingness to work towards professional qualifications.
Qualifications
* Education: GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths; A-Levels (Grade A-C) or equivalent.
* Professional Qualifications: Progression towards professional qualifications is desirable but not essential.
