Do you have what it takes to work in the fast-paced environment of Business Events? Due to record numbers of conference and events bookings, Venue Cymru are seeking to recruit an additional Event Account Manager to work alongside our existing team of four. We are looking for someone with an excellent eye for detail, who can remain calm under pressure. As an Event Account Manager you will take responsibility for all aspects of event management from initial contact with the client to the conclusion of the event. Venue Cymru prides itself on the excellent feedback we receive about our friendly and professional team, and it will be your job to front this team when dealing with many of our regular clients.
We require a highly motivated individual with excellent people management skills and proven I.T. knowledge. The ideal candidate will possess previous experience in the Conference and Events industry and will thrive on juggling the needs of many different clients, always working to tight deadlines. This is a full time post, working 37 hours a week on a flexi system of work with some requirement to work evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
Venue Cymru is the region’s busiest Entertainment and Conference Centre. Venue Cymru consists of a 1500 seat auditorium, an arena that can accommodate 2500 standing combined with prestigious Conference and Exhibition facilities.
The ability to communicate in English is essential for this post and the ability to converse in Welsh is desirable.
