We are seeking to hear from HCPC registered therapists from a range of clinical areas including stammering, autism, DLD, speech, neuro-disability, and dysphagia. Candidates can have experience in more generalist or specialist roles.
The ideal candidate/s will support the clinical work of the children's team by completing initial assessments, reviews, delivering interventions, writing advice for EHCPs, and responding to telephone calls/tasks, etc. We have sessions available in County Durham, Darlington, Hartlepool, or Stockton. Main duties of the job
1. Manage a caseload of children with complex communication needs, conducting assessments, developing, and implementing care plans.
2. Provide specialist advice and support to less experienced colleagues and supervise assistant practitioners as required.
3. Work collaboratively with schools, families, and healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to treatment.
4. Contribute to service development, clinical governance, and participate in ongoing research and audit projects.

Qualifications
* Current relevant professional registration (HCPC Registration).
* Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
Experience
* Proven experience in clinical settings, with a strong focus on children's speech, language, and communication disorders.
* Valid UK driver's licence and access to a car.
