Job summary
South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust is offering an exceptional opportunity for an Ultrasound Fellow in Paediatric Emergency Medicine. This one-year fellowship combines hands-on clinical experience in a purpose-built Paediatric Emergency Department (PED) at Sunderland Royal Hospital with a fully funded Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Ultrasound at Teesside University.
The PED is a standalone, state-of-the-art facility serving approximately 29,000 children annually, with features including dedicated resuscitation bays, high-dependency beds, and a Children's Short Stay Assessment Unit.
