OB TYPE: Permanent - Mon to Fri 37.5 hours per week (no weekends) Role Purpose Achieve best possible customer outcomes to deliver Sales and Income targets To work closely with all stakeholders as the Champion of Cold Calling Outbound sales activity for the cold calling campaigns Deliver against strategic objectives and quality measures. Optimise the current proposition and help develop our strategy to deliver the sales requirements from any cold calling campaigns we initiate by appropriate targeting and to look for any cross-sale opportunities. To provide accurate MI to internal and external Stakeholders to maximise all business opportunities. To be actively adaptable to new and existing business requirements driven through direct and intermediary sales channels including a variation of different tasks, campaigns and objectives to ensure our potential new customers receive the best service and appropriate outcome. Experience Required Proven track record in sales and previous cold calling experience is essential Excellent Communication Skills : Strong verbal communication skills are essential to engage with potential customers, understand their needs, and effectively communicate the benefits of products or services. Persuasion and Negotiation : Ability to persuade and negotiate with potential customers to achieve sales targets while maintaining a positive customer experience Resilience : Telemarketing can involve handling rejection and objections. A resilient attitude is crucial to bounce back from challenges and persistently pursue sales opportunities Active Listening : The ability to listen attentively to customers, understand their requirements, and tailor sales pitches accordingly Time Management : Effective time management skills to handle a high volume of calls (efficiently prioritise tasks, and meet sales targets Adaptability: The sales landscape can change quickly.
