Mathematics Teacher (Maternity Cover) – 0.6 FTE We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our vibrant school community of All Saints’ Catholic Voluntary Academy on a maternity cover basis, starting from January 2025. Contract Details: Position: Mathematics Teacher (Maternity Cover) Contract Type: Temporary Work Pattern: 0.6 FTE (3 days per week) Start Date: January 2025 Salary: £18,000 - £27,915 per annum (MPS/UPS) Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum for Key Stages 3 and 4. Assess and track students' progress, providing timely and constructive feedback. Contribute to the wider maths department, supporting curriculum development and participating in departmental meetings. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, maintaining high expectations for student behaviour and progress. Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure student success. The Ideal Candidate: Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills status (QTLS) Has experience teaching mathematics at secondary level. Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics. Has strong communication and organisational skills. Is committed to promoting a positive learning experience for all students.
