I am delighted to be working with a client based in Newcastle on the appointment of a Revenue Transaction Assistant to work within their Accounts Receivable team.\nResponsibilities Include:\n * Correctly inputting all rental income\n * Revenue posting\n * Creation and posting of revenue charges and invoice creation\n * Processing direct debit payments\n * Posting Housing benefit receipts\n * Allocating and banking cheques\n * Confirming receipt of payments\n * Distribution of departmental post\n * Liaising with property management, renewals and revenue collectors\n * Communicating with Council housing benefit departments\n * Maintaining tenants ledger\n * Posting of charges and invoices\n * Processing renewal information within 48 hours of receipt (Renewal, Midterm, S13 administration)\n * Production of reports for auditing purposes\n * Setting up new Direct debit and amendments\n * Scanning documents\n * Producing monthly bank reconciliation reports\n * Completing weekly transfer’s and journals\n * Any other duties that maybe requested by manager to ensure the efficient running of the department\nSkills & Requirements:\n * Minimum 1 year in a similar role\n * Strong numeracy and attention to detail\n * Evidence of building successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders\n * Ability to use own initiative to problem solve, take ownership and work well under pressure\n * Working knowledge of in house packages e.g. QUBE\n * Knowledge of Bank Nominals\n * Knowledge of Batch Payments
