The Asset Management and Water Quality team plays a vital role in ensuring the long-term sustainability and resilience of Yorkshire Water's assets and the quality of the water we provide. We are at the forefront of planning and delivering innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of our customers and the environment. This role offers the chance to shape significant investment programmes and drive strategic change within a critical area of the business. Where you fit in: As our Manager of Demand Reduction you will: Be accountable for the delivery and attainment of Per Capita Consumption and Non-Household Business Demand performance commitments. Lead the Strategy, Planning and Investment function for leakage, overseeing the delivery of the Assets focused leakage reduction plan. Be responsible for the ongoing optimisation and delivery of the AMP8 Per Capita Consumption and Non Household Demand Reduction Performance Commitments. Be accountable for developing/iterating the PCC and NNH demand reduction strategy and plan optimization for inclusion within the WRMP29 and PR29. Lead the development of future leakage reduction plans for inclusion in WRMP29 and the subsequent PR29 submission. Lead the Strategy, Planning and Investment function for leakage. What skills & qualifications you will need: Experience in customer centric waste reduction or process efficiency. Has managed multi million, investment programmes delivering incremental improvement with challenging long-term targets. Track record of developing benefit assessment frameworks and building complex business cases. Has created management information suites, enabling visibility of key metrics and subsequently driven change from the insight. Been accountable for continuous improvement in area of ownership. Line management experience for multi skilled teams, driving both collective objective attainment and coaching skills development for direct reports. Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels across the business; with a bias towards IT/Tec and Operational colleagues. Be able to establish effective working relationships to influence leaders at all levels of Yorkshire Water. You will also benefit from having: Extensive knowledge of Demand management, Per Capita Consumption, Non-Household Demand and Leakage within the Water Sector. Experience in a regulated utility, with a desired understanding of the performance metrics across Clean Water Networks and Customer Experience. Experience in optimising investment plans, demonstrating differing costs and benefits of the available options. Experience in contributing/owning sections of, Water Resources Management Plans and Price Review submissions. Equivalent processes in other regulated sectors accepted.
