We are seeking an experienced Global Product Manager to lead our Events Management Program, which is currently deployed in over 70 markets worldwide. The ideal candidate will oversee the maintenance and future evolution of our Events Platforms, working closely with our business stakeholders and supported by an international Dev Ops team. The Product Manager is flexible in managing additional product platforms in line with business need.
This role will be accountable for identifying opportunities for growth and innovation, ultimately driving a product vision, strategy, and corresponding roadmap for Events. They will need to balance business and customer needs while simultaneously improving the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the Events Management product team to deliver a best-in-class platform to deliver HCP Engagement Events.
The Product Manager will be accountable for the end-to-end success of Events. They will lead product discovery by leveraging data, research, and market analysis, then liaising with stakeholders and working closely with cross-functional teams throughout the software development life cycle to ensure effective rollout of new features in markets all over the world. The successful candidate will have current familiarity with industry trends and emerging technologies in the Pharmaceutical Events management space.

In this role you will
* Lead efforts in developing and aligning on a Product vision, strategy and roadmap, with clear OKRs and measurable KPIs
* Work with a cross-functional team to manage the global Event product backlog, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business value and strategic alignment.
* Understand customer needs better than anyone through a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and product specifications.
* Work with colleagues from multi-disciplinary backgrounds (including but not limited to: Commercial, Medical, Compliance, Privacy, UX Design, Customer Experience, Tech and Marketing Operations) to drive and facilitate new ideas from conception through to delivery that benefits GSK's and the LOCs' Event ambitions.
* Maintain high credibility and alignment with stakeholders, acting as the single Point of Accountability to make sure that your product is performing to maintain high levels of satisfaction amongst users.
* Strong community management and change management skills to continuously inform stakeholders about product updates and benefits to increase adoption amongst users.
* Support in navigating interdependencies with other digital channels and products within GSK and our 3rd Party Partners (e.g. Veeva).
* Stay on top of any dependencies with other teams, remove blockers, coordinate with other product teams or stakeholders.
* Align with other product roadmaps to ensure that features are delivered with minimal delays and issues
* Work to continuously improve operational efficiency of your global product team, including processes for scaling product enhancements, to promote adoption of your product at GSK

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
* Experience in product management (or similar role), in the pharmaceutical industry
* Strong understanding of how External Engagement Events fit into the workload of field and marketing teams.
* You have experience of working within a matrixed organisation with multiple stakeholders to manage.
* You have a broad and detailed understanding of product management techniques including customer development, discovery & primary research, lean start-up method and industrialisation/scaling-up.
* You've defined your own North-star Metric, KPIs sets and run your product teams using OKRs.
* You are comfortable bringing people "along the journey" by educating them, informing them about your product transparently and are open to constructive feedback from stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

* Experience in Pharmaceutical sales & marketing.
* Experience managing both Strategic & Non-Strategic Third-Party Suppliers.
* Experience of working in a Regional or Global role.
