Support Worker, Band 2 position to work in William Harvey and join a happy hardworking team delivering direct care to our Surgical admissions patients on admissions and Pre-assessment patients in a clinic setting. You will be required to work a rotational week in both areas.
Responsibilities:
1. Delivering a high standard of care to patients.
2. In pre-assessment, you will be required to weigh, measure height, MRSA swab, and possibly CPO swab the patients.
3. Record and report blood pressure, any abnormal findings, ECG and blood taking, as well as undertaking urinalysis.
4. Assist with some administrative work alongside our admin team and complete handwritten paperwork booklets.
Training will be given. Care certificate will require to be undertaken.
