We are the Design and Engineering partner for Sellafield under the PPP (Programme and Project Partners). This is a 20-year arrangement to deliver ~£7bn of major projects. We are looking to recruit high value expertise from across regulated and comparable sectors to work in a collaborative environment. PPP is delivering major projects, site wide improvements and provision of supporting services.
We provide the front end design and engineering capability across the PPP portfolio. We are currently looking for a CS&A Designer to join our team in Birchwood Park, Warrington
As a result of an increasing portfolio of projects, Civil/Structural Designer is required to deliver engineering design work packages through concept, preliminary and detailed design for a variety of civil & structural solutions (Reinforced Concrete Vault Structure/Substructure, Steelwork Overbuilding/ Link bridges, Reinforced Concrete ducts/trenches, etc.)
Your responsibilities as a CS&A Designer will include:
* Delivery of complete design concepts from basic scheme definition
* Production of plans, sections, details & design documents using the appropriate software
* Collaborative multi-discipline design & client / stakeholder liaison
* Attend technical meetings
As a CS&A Designer you will already have;
* Experience of working on projects delivering civil/structural design solutions, both greenfield and brownfield.
* Appropriate qualifications in Civil/Structural Engineering e.g. BSC, HND, HNC.
* Understanding of Construction Design and Management Regulations (CDM)
* Experience with CAD packages, REVIT, Navisworks
