The ability to maintain good working relationships with colleaguesfrom all disciplines is essential. We are seeking an experiencedPsychiatrist who is eligible for Vocational Registration with the NZ MedicalCouncil and or a Fellow of the Australasian College of Psychiatrist (orequivalent).Health New Zealand -South Canterbury is responsible for the delivery of services throughout theSouth Canterbury region and Timaru Hospital (131 beds) serves a districtpopulation of approximately 50,000 based in a General Hospital Facility, (whichhas just commenced a significant refurbishment programme), providing our localcommunity with such critical 24/7 services as ED, ICU/CCU, General,Orthopaedic, & ENT Surgery, O&G, Psychiatry, Geriatrics, Oncology &Palliative Care, Internal Medicine and Paediatrics.
