Job Title: Secondary Maths Teacher- SEMH Needs
Location: England, Greater London, Hornchurch
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £30,000 +, dependant on experience
Job Duties:
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Maths lessons to secondary students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
* Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment to meet the individual needs of students
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as required
* Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students
* Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities
Required Qualifications:
* Degree in Mathematics or relevant subject
* Experience working with students with SEMH needs
Experience:
* Previous experience teaching Maths to secondary students
* Experience working with students with SEMH needs
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum for secondary education
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
* Effective classroom management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Working Conditions:
* Full-time position with regular school hours
* Work within a secondary school setting in Hornchurch, Greater London

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
