Job summary This is an an exciting opportunity for Physiotherapists with proven clinical and interpersonal skills to join our Band 6 rotational scheme at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. You will gain experience treating a wide variety of clinical conditions. You will have the opportunity to develop both your clinical and non-clinical skills including appraisal and supervision of junior staff and students, participating in projects contributing to service development and delivery of training programmes and teaching both within the trust and our partner organisations. Rotations are of 6 & 12 months duration and each post is supported by experienced senior staff. Staff need to be prepared to participate in any of the rotations within the rotational scheme. You will be expected to embrace the departments equity, inclusion and diversity working ethos. These posts would suit a Band 5 physiotherapist wishing to gain specific experience at a more senior level or an established Band 6 wishing to consolidate and develop their respiratory physiotherapy knowledge and skills. Main duties of the job To provide a high standard physiotherapy service to inpatients and specialist clinics within the Guy's and St Thomas' Foundation Trust. This post is part of a 6 monthly rotation scheme, across both sites of Guy's and St Thomas' Foundation Trust and our community sites in the following areas: Cardiac & Surgery, Critical Care, Medical, Lane Fox Ventilation and Weaning Unit, Lane Fox outreach clinic, Integrated Respiratory Team, Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Thoracics, Older Persons Unit (Medical), Head & Neck Surgery, Oncology in and out patients, Respiratory outpatients and Long Covid, three flexible pathway posts.
