Are you a passionate and creative Art Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire and nurture young artists? A thriving secondary school on the outskirts of Bedford is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join their team from September 2024.
About the Role:
We are looking for an engaging and innovative Art Teacher to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to contribute to A-Level studies. The successful candidate will have the ability to foster creativity, encourage artistic expression, and develop students' confidence in a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver high-quality Art lessons that inspire and challenge students.
2. Develop students' technical skills and creative abilities in a range of artistic mediums.
3. Assess and provide constructive feedback to support student progression.
4. Organise and contribute to school exhibitions, displays, and extracurricular art activities.
5. Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
6. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Art curriculum and wider school community.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. A relevant degree in Art, Fine Art, or a related field.
3. Experience teaching Art at secondary level (KS3 & KS4; KS5 desirable).
4. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities.
5. A passion for the subject and a commitment to fostering creativity.
6. The ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential.
