An exciting opportunity has arisen with a UK hospitality business that is about to do great things! They are already very popular within the London restaurant/bar/pub world. This Head of HR role would be London based, overseeing the whole group.
The Head of HR Role:
1. Assist with the management of all budgets in line with financial procedures and manage the HR budget economically.
2. Deal with all Employee Relations (ER) issues.
3. Manage a head office team, working alongside the Operational team.
4. Ensure the development, maintenance, and review of efficient HR administration systems to cover all aspects of employment, providing a quality and compliant service to managers and staff.
5. Review, adjust, implement, and manage all aspects of remuneration, bonuses, and benefits.
6. Develop, implement, and communicate effective systems of performance management to maximize the company's human resources.
7. Assist the operations department to ensure the company complies with all aspects of Health and Safety legislation and that the optimum working environment exists.
8. Understand the operations of a restaurant and kitchen and be able to adapt as required to fulfill your role.
Minimum Requirements:
1. In-depth understanding of HR policies and processes.
2. In-depth knowledge of Employment Law.
3. Experience of project and change management.
4. Experience of leading a team remote from the customer base.
5. Experience of continuous service improvement.
6. Ability to think outside the box.
7. Able to work in a fast, ever-changing environment.
MUST have London restaurant experience to apply.
CIPD qualification is essential.
