The opportunity
Youll play a vital part in supporting our learners by conducting annual reviews of Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), including early reviews, and ensuring everything runs smoothly and on time. Youll take charge of tracking review dates, managing schedules, and coordinating meetings with all key stakeholders to ensure a seamless process.
Youll also have the rewarding task in supporting to assess EHCP outcomes and setting meaningful new goals that truly make a difference in our learners' lives. Clear communication will be one of your key strengths, as youll provide detailed written reports from the meetings with, students, families, colleagues and stakeholders. Collaboration will also be at the heart of your role as you work closely with parents, carers, students, and external agencies to gather valuable insights and ensure every voice is heard.
Keeping accurate, up-to-date records will be key, and youll ensure compliance with SEND legislation, including the SEND Code of Practice and data protection requirements, maintaining the highest standards throughout. Working alongside the ALS Spirals and Claims Administrator, youll also contribute to achieving departmental goals while also supporting colleagues with expert guidance on EHCP processes and SEND requirements.
Youll also showcase your organisational talents by managing departmental data, maintaining files, and using MS Outlook to coordinate schedules. Your proactive and optimistic approach will ensure that the administrative side of the SEND provision is as effective and impactful as the support we deliver to our learners.

About you
Were looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team. In this role, youll make a real difference by facilitating high-quality reviews of Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) and ensuring learners with SEND receive the support they need to succeed.
Youll bring at least two years of relevant experience, ideally in education, social services, or a similar setting. Your strong administrative skills will help you organise meetings, manage deadlines, and maintain accurate records. Confidence in working with a variety of stakeholders, including families, carers, and external agencies, will be key. Familiarity with SEND reforms and a person-centred approach to planning would be an advantage.
Your ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate professionally will make you stand out. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Access, and Publisher, will support your ability to manage departmental data and keep records up to date. A Level 3 qualification related to Special Educational Needs (SEN) would be desirable, alongside GCSE Maths and English or equivalent qualifications.
Personally, youll be self-motivated and approachable, with a strong work ethic and excellent interpersonal skills. Youll work collaboratively within a team while remaining learner-focused in everything you do. Safeguarding is a priority in this role, so youll need to show a clear understanding of boundaries and resilience when handling challenging behaviours.
