Project Manager (Construction)
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 plus company car/car allowance and package
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Project Manager to join a leading Facilities Management company based in Scotland. This role will involve overseeing a variety of projects, ranging from large construction initiatives to smaller-scale maintenance tasks. Our primary focus is safety and ensuring complete client satisfaction. As our business continues to grow, we are expanding our Project Management team and looking for someone passionate to join us.
The ideal candidate will be based in Scotland, with a strong background in project or construction management. You will be working as part of a dedicated team to deliver a diverse range of facilities management projects across multiple locations. This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a dynamic and expanding sector.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the full delivery of projects, managing multiple sites and maintaining close coordination with clients and stakeholders. Your duties will include:
* Taking ownership of projects and ensuring timely, safe delivery
* Leading a team of Assistant Project Managers and junior staff
* Coordinating with site managers, operations teams, commercial teams, and clients
* Managing larger and more complex projects, from inception through to completion
* Ensuring projects are completed within agreed budgets and timelines
* Overseeing project programs to meet deadlines and deliverables
* Working closely with subcontractors and supply chain partners to meet quality, safety, and cost targets
* Conducting regular project reviews to monitor progress
* Identifying and developing future project opportunities
We want to hear from you if you have:
* Experience in project management within a facilities management or construction environment
* A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant construction, management, or engineering discipline
* Strong understanding of CDM regulations and risk management
* A proactive team player with excellent organizational and communication skills
* Proven ability to manage client expectations and deliver successful project outcomes
* Experience in project cost control and managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Familiarity with project documentation, including design specifications and health and safety plans
* Experience in managing on-site works and coordinating subcontractors
* Proficiency in basic IT tools such as Excel and SharePoint
* A valid driving license is essential
