The role will be based in our London office and report to the Senior VM Manager, UKI.
This role will work on successfully adapting global campaign and evergreen assets to produce regional-specific events & pop-ups in all physical retail environments that meet UKI VM and business objectives. Primary responsibilities include managing the end-to-end process of our ambitious events & pop-up program across the UKI whilst ensuring adherence to global VM & Event guidelines. This role will manage several projects concurrently, and project management experience is essential to succeed in this role. This role will also work directly on the tasks involved in the execution of a pop-up, including briefing agencies on designs & finishes, working with retailers to ensure timely approvals right through to installation.
Under the supervision of the Senior VM Manager UKI, this individual will also collaborate closely with the global VM & Event teams to ensure brand consistency and excellence in execution across all touchpoints. Additionally, on a project basis, they will partner with cross-functional partners within the UKI Sales team to ensure all VM executions are aligned to the UKI business objectives and priorities.
This individual must have an entrepreneurial spirit, strong design sensibilities and excellent time management skills to thrive and make an impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment of a rapidly growing and category-disrupting brand.
Responsibilities
Pop-ups & Events
* Working in partnership with the Trade Marketing Manager and National Account Managers, ensure briefs are delivered in a timely & accurate manner
* Develop & steward critical paths with all stakeholders from a VM perspective, ensuring key risks & opportunities are highlighted throughout the process for a timely delivery
* Work with the VM Designer to develop 3D concepts for approval with the Senior Leadership team
* Manage suppliers through a clear briefing process using your design skills where applicable for all assigned projects, managing timelines & budgets to launch projects on time
* Approve all sample materials & drawings in partnership with the Senior VM Manager
* Manage the retailer approval process, ensuring all drawings are complete, certifications are supplied & structural safety is approved
* Working in collaboration with Sales & Marketing, brief VM Designer to develop all printed promotional collateral & VM collateral for each site
* Work in collaboration with Sales on the planogramming of products for each site
* Attend installations for merchandising & snagging
* Follow up each project with a detailed overview to share wins & opportunities
Requirements
* Minimum of 4 years experience in Creative VM or Events
* Project Management experience & ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
* Ability to come up with creative solutions and designs and bring them to life
* Understanding of print process for all in-store 2D graphics
* Understanding of 3D design process
* Demonstrational knowledge of working with retailers & landlords to gain approvals
* Portfolio focused on beauty or luxury demonstrating examples of event execution
* Focus on improving consumer experiences in & out of stores
* Experience managing vendor relationships
* Materials, manufacturing, and installation execution knowledge
* Experience in Boots/Sephora/Department Stores
* Collaborative team player & desire to improve process
* Regular travel is required to site for installations
* This role requires 3 days per week in our London Office
Qualifications:
* Software - competent with Adobe Creative Suite
* Office 365 - Excel and Word capabilities required
* Qualifications – Visual Merchandising, Event design & Management, Marketing, Architecture or Construction
* Supplier Management experience
