About the role:
As Global Major Accounts Sales Manager- JCB Parts, you’ll be responsible for managing and strengthening relationships with major global customers in order to achieve parts sales growth. You’ll be required to identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and conquest accounts and develop strategies to maximize customer satisfaction and retention to drive aftermarket growth. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong commercial ability and proactive approach who can balance the demands of multiple accounts operating in multiple territories while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. You’ll be based at the JCB World Parts Centre in the UK and lead a small team of Major Account Regional Managers. This role is a 12-month maternity cover with potential for a full-time role thereafter.
What does this role involve day to day?
1. Develop and implement the aftermarket major account strategy to support key customers and dealers globally in order to deliver business growth.
2. Manage a portfolio of high-value, strategic accounts ensuring strong, long-term relationships and exceptional customer satisfaction. Understand and articulate customers aftermarket requirements and capabilities per region to provide a solution.
3. Collaborate with JCB Sales, Aftermarket teams and the dealer network to develop solutions and drive the necessary changes required to meet customers’ needs and growth objectives.
4. Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to customers and dealers and negotiate contracts and agreements for new business opportunities.
5. Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities for growth and competitor offering for all markets and feedback to the central teams.
6. Monitor and analyse parts sales performance and service metrics to identify and target opportunities.
7. Prepare, lead and host regular reviews with dealers and end customers.
8. Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
This will be suited to you if:
1. You have extensive experience and understanding of the Aftermarket (Service & Parts) preferably within the construction, agricultural or automotive industry.
2. You have experience managing a team.
3. You’re a strategic thinker and have the ability to create and implement long-term strategies for growth.
4. You have proven experience in global account management, B2B sales and managing complex solutions with large organisations across multiple regions.
5. You have excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with customers and internal stakeholders at all levels and across business functions.
6. You’re solution orientated and results driven.
7. You’re commercially aware with a consistent record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
